During Team Fortress 2 the engineer plays an important roll in
keeping other players out of the intelligence room and keeping the scores even.
Above is a small map for the intelligence room in 2fort.
The X's indicate positions for engineers to place their turrets or sentries and get multiple kills.

Another great thing to do when playing the engineer,
is to move your sentries very often to prevent the foiling of them,
and you can trick other players more frequently.
So let's say you put your sentry at the top most X, and get about 2 or 3 kills.
Those players are going to assume that the sentry is still there so they're going to try to avoid it.
Unless they're a spy.
What you would do is move the sentry to the X on the very right side so you tricked them to run down the ramp. Eventually they will figure out that it's been moved and try the other way again.
That's when you put the sentry to X almost in the middle.
A great way to keep your kills rolling up frequently is to move your sentry constantly.
Even if it's just a level 1 sentry. They are very useful machinery.
